Tartan Marketing Names New Creative Director

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (October 29, 2010) — Tartan Marketing, a Minneapolis-based business-to-business marketing agency, recently named Michael Vogt to the position of Creative Director. In addition to managing an expanding creative staff, Vogt will lend his passion for great ideas and compelling visuals to Tartan’s signature strategic planning process, providing clients with innovative, insightful creative that is both striking and relevant.

Vogt comes to Tartan with 20+ years of experience in design management and development, both on the corporate and agency sides, and has worked for companies including Minnesota Public Radio, Blue Cross Blue Shield and ThreeWire. During past stints as Creative Director at two Twin Cities agencies, Vogt worked on a number of national accounts such as Target, Medtronic, 3M, Allina, Ceridian and The St. Paul Companies.

It was this breadth of experience and Vogt’s ability to effectively solve business problems with well-executed solutions that made him a perfect fit for the Tartan model, which aims to inject the traditional business-to-business marketplace with a dose of good work driven by what Tartan calls “intelligent intuition.”

Founded in 2000, Tartan Marketing is an independent, woman-owned business focused on helping business-to-business clients form effective and meaningful brand strategies. Tartan specializes in helping clients articulate persuasive brand messaging and develop comprehensive programs designed to “move the needle” and get measurable results.
